Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2012 (KCET 2012 or CETK 2012) is conducted by Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore. Karnataka CET 2012 released through an advertisement number ED/KEA/Legal Cell/CR-66/2011-12 dated 27th February, 2012.

CETK 2012 Notification:
KCET 2012 notification is released for admission to first year Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Unani/Naturopathy & Yoga/Engineering/Technology/Architecture courses for the seats to be notified by the Government in the Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka in the academic year 2012-13.

Karnataka CET 2012 Eligibility Criteria:
For Medical/Dental Courses: candidates should have a degree of Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the PCB group to apply for CETK 2012.
For Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Unani/Naturopathy & Yoga Courses: candidates must have a degree of Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the PCB group to apply for CETK 2012.
For Engineering/Technology Courses: candidates with 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate can apply for Karnataka CET 2012.
For Architecture Course: candidates with 2nd PUC/12th Std. or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory with 50% marks in aggregate and NATA score can apply for KCET 2012.
Karnataka CET 2012 Application:
Candidates can obtain CETK 2012 brochure cum application form by the DD of Rs. 650 drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority” payable at Bangalore and Rs. 500 for (SC/ST).

- Karnataka CET 2012 Exam Date: 3rd and 4th May, 2012
- Kannada Language Test: 5th May, 2012
